Singapore, August 21, 2013. Sprooki, Asia’s local marketing system for retail welcomes two new distinguished executives, Carl Clump and Daniel Roberts to their advisory board. Carl Clump is the Founder of ReD Worldwide, a world leader in payment services and fraud prevention and Daniel Roberts, is the former Head of Online at Woolworths, currently CEO and Founder of SKUvantage.
Carl Clump lends his experience as a seasoned entrepreneur and CEO of a public listed company on the London Stock Exchange, an AIM listed company, a private equity backed company and two startups, as well as being Group Managing Director for a VC backed entity to Sprooki’s advisory board. He is currently the chairman of FBME Card Services, the cards and payment division of a European Private Bank and the non- executive Chairman of MillionPlus Private Finance (Asia), a specialist private finance consultancy, combining credit structuring and private banking expertise to help clients optimise the financing of their most valuable assets, including aviation, marine, art and property finance.
In 2000, Carl founded Retail Decisions (now ReD Worldwide), an international card issuing and fraud prevention company, with many of the world’s leading brands as customers. Its customers include Banks, Payment Service Providers, Retailers and Airlines. He was the Chief Executive from 2000 until 2011. The Company was listed on the London Stock Exchange until 2006, when Carl took the company private. He retired as the company’s Group Chairman in March 2013. Carl has an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management, a post-graduate diploma in Management Studies and a University of London Degree in Physics and is currently based in Singapore.
Daniel Roberts shares his experience in transforming traditional retail businesses in a multi-channel world to Sprooki’s advisory board. Dan has spent the past 10 years working in online retail, both at Tesco.com in the UK and heading up the development and implemention of Woolworths multi channel strategy across all their non food brands. In both of these roles Daniel was intimately involved in the strategy, implementation and execution of the product and content capture teams and processes. Dan is now founder and CEO of SKUvantage, helping retailers and suppliers to maximise the return on investment in their digital strategy, by providing excellent product content with high quality, low cost and high throughput. Dan has an MBA from INSEAD and is currently living in Sydney.
