Sprooki expands to Taiwan taking Asia-Pacific footprint to 6 markets

Sprooki, Asia-Pacific’s first local marketing system for retailers and malls, has appointed IBPT as its new reseller partner in Taiwan.  This takes Sprooki’s coverage of Asia-Pacific to six markets including Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Singapore.

IBTP will support the expansion of Sprooki’s location-based marketing and commerce platform in Taiwan, where smartphone ownership has reached 50% of mobile phone users.  Leveraging Sprooki’s platform and services specifically design for large-scale retail enterprises, IBTP will provide customised solutions and services to Taiwan’s largest malls, department stores and retail brands.

Taiwan’s e-Commerce sales have been booming in recent years. Chinese Economic Authorities estimate e-commerce sales were NT$660 billion (US$22.5 billion) in 2012 and are expected to grow further to reach NT$1 trillion  (US$33.4 trillion) by 2015.
