Sprooki has appointed Retail & Franchise Asia (RFA) as a partner and exclusive reseller of Sprooki’s mobile engagement platform in Vietnam, South East Asia’s fastest growing retail market.

RFA is a representative of World Franchise Associates, a global leader in assisting franchisors to enter new markets by securing development agreements and connecting franchisors with franchisees. RFA apply their global experience and local knowledge to empower retailers and franchisors to enhance enterprise value, grow profitability, inspire & engage all stakeholders.

These aligned objectives make Sprooki and RFA ideal partners to add further value for RFA clients in Vietnam, which include Gloria Jean’s Coffee International, BreadTalk and Carl’s Jr.

More than a third of the population of Vietnam are now using smartphones, and mobile assisted transactions are growing at an astounding rate having doubled between 2013 and 2014, from 6% to 13%[i]. Vietnam E-Commerce and Information Technology Agency, a department of the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, forecast revenue generated by e-commerce to grow from $700 million in 2012 to $4 billion in 2015. With mobile data prices among the lowest in the world, Vietnam’s m-commerce market is broadly accessible and expected to maintain its exceptional growth.

“We are very excited to enter the burgeoning Vietnamese market via a partnership with Retail & Franchise Asia, who are firmly embedded in the local retail ecosystem,” said Claire Mula, Executive Director and Co-founder of Sprooki. “Entering a transitioning growth market presents a unique opportunity for Sprooki. This deal gives Vietnamese retailers immediate access to omni-channel strategies that revolutionise the way they engage with their customers.”

Vietnam is now a ‘mobile-first’ market experiencing massive growth and a cultural shift in the way Vietnamese people shop. As a market leader in m-commerce and mobile engagement, Sprooki is in an excellent position to assist Vietnamese retailers in capitalising on the changing retail landscape.

Ms. Phi Van Nguyen, Founder and Executive Director of Retail & Franchise Asia, stated “The partnership with Sprooki is a fantastic fit of RFA’s mission to provide the most innovative and ROI-driven solutions to the retail industry in Vietnam. With Sprooki being the leader in mobile marketing solution provider across Asia, I am confident that the launch of Sprooki in Vietnam will be a game-changer in retail marketing and will definitely take retail marketing in Vietnam to a new level. We are living in a mobile age and real-time customer engagement means increased revenue, enhanced loyalty, and in return, increased enterprise value. The long-term partnership with Sprooki shows RFA’s committed contribution to the development of the retail & franchise industry in Vietnam.”
