313@somerset launches on Android

Singapore, August 7, 2013. Singapore’s iconic 313@somerset mall, launched its location-based mobile commerce service, known as “Tring 313” for Android users this month. The app is powered by Sprooki’s customisable local marketing platform version 2.0 specifically designed for large retailers and malls.

From July 11, Android users have downloaded Tring 313 for to exclusive offers and promotions from 313@somerset‘s 170+ retailers in one easy to use application. 313’s shoppers will be notified of exclusive offers and flash promotions when they are in proximity of the iconic Orchard Road mall and Somerset MRT station. For some limited offers,  purchase on the spot using credit card or PayPal and reedem instore at their convenience.

Launched in conjunction with the popular “Food Fest” campaign, Tring 313 immediately jumped to the top 5 applications in the Google Playstore’s shopping category and generated thousands of downloads and coupon views within days of launch. A series of pre-pay mobile offers generated significant transactions from mobile shoppers through the mobile device, 28% of which occurred when the mall and stores were closed.

In addition to location-based offers and mobile transactions, Tring@313 application also offers users access to real-time event and ‘add to calendar’ features, searchable store directories and access to Club313 registration, 313’s loyalty program.
